Do we ever appreciate repeat customers! After landscaping in the backyard, this homeowner asked us back to carve out a front patio.
And we do mean carve out...the designated area had to be cleared, leveled, and an Iowa Stone wall constructed in order to claim a level space for the patio to go.
Jordan & Dan went to work nestling the patio footprint in...
...and also building a seamless set of stairs to connect to the homeowner's lovely lower tier.
Good communication with our customers is always key: in this case, the client communicated the need for communication lines for his business--this sleeve installed under the patio will provide for that future expansion.
Gorillas in the mist? No, it's Jordan precision-cutting a wall stone as the October monsoons resume. (Remember what a WET month that was.....)
With the prep work almost done and a break in the rain, brickwork can begin.
A few days and a little landscaping magic later, the finished product appears.
With each step...
...the view just gets better...
...and better!
The stone stairs are in,
the unobtrusive wall is in,
the brickwork is stunning,
and the link to the backyard is flawless.
From any angle,
the view gives you pause.
Good thing they have chairs!
(And no bird feeder paving detail is left undone...the birds (and squirrels) in this yard have it so good.)
