Irrigation Design

Landscape design isn’t the only designing we do. Good design is absolutely necessary if an irrigation system is to perform well beyond the first month or two.

We take many factors into consideration: water source(s), water pressure, components best suited for the job, separate zoning needed based on plants and turf, soil type, site orientation (north-south-east-west), if drip irrigation is needed or desired, pipe sizing and type, and more.

We take the guess work out so that once that system goes in, you can just let the system work for YOU.

We are happy to give new system estimates. Since each home or business is unique, we visit your site and get an estimate to you after meeting with you.

Spring Start-Up

Service: Activate system, check and adjust Arc/Radius of Heads & Program Controller for Spring

Residential

$19.00 per zone.

Systems 5 zones or less.
$95 minimum.

Commercial

$200/hr for Large Residential, Commercial, Athletic Systems.

$200 minimum.

***Well systems may require additional time, billed at the Service Work hourly rate.

Fall Blow-Out

Service: Deactivate system, provide winter drainage of system & Backflow.

Residential

$19.00 per zone.

Systems 5 zones or less.
$95 minimum.

Commercial

$200/ hr for large residential and commercial systems.

$350/ hr for Athletic Field systems with $350 minimum.

$50 min charge for Well Winterization.

No. There is no contractual obligation to use our services.

We hope to start activations by Mid April and the Process goes through the first part of June.

We start the process in late September and the last blow outs are completed by Early November.

If the overnight temps are not below 32 it will be fine. If colder temps are forecasted, do the following:

  • Turn the water off at the source
  • Activate a zone to take pressure of the mainline pipe coming from the source
  • Wrap a towel or blanket around the exterior pipes above ground.
  • If you follow these steps, you will be fine even if temps get in the teens.

There are too many start times programmed. You only need to have one start time and each zone will run sequentially after that initial start time.
